What We Carry

The Free Geek Store maintains a stock of laptop and desktop computer systems running mainly Ubuntu, a Linux operating system. The store also carries a rotating stock of peripherals and parts including monitors, keyboards, power adapters, hard drives, and much more.

Learn more about what we carry by seeing our online store, which is under construction and shows a portion of our inventory and prices.

Because we are a secondhand store, our inventory varies depending on recent donations. As such, we can’t guarantee that we’ll have any particular item in stock. The best way to find out what we carry is to make regular visits to our store.

Our knowledgeable volunteers are happy to answer your questions and we do our best to accommodate special requests.  We want to help you find the technology you need!

Returns

The Free Geek Store’s return policy does not apply to items marked sold "as-is." These items cannot be exchanged or returned for any reason and will be labeled as such on the sales receipt.

Return Policy

To return an item, you must present your receipt at the time of return. The item must be in the same condition as when it was sold and have the original stickers attached. We do not offer cash refunds for any reason.

All returns are for store credit only. In-store credit never expires. We can provide store credit in the form of a gift card. We cannot provide duplicate copies of store credits, however, we do keep a backup of purchases with store credit information.

Warranty

All computer systems include a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase unless otherwise noted on the receipt. Please see the warranty information page for more details.
